Douglas Cyr, MPA, MFT, CTTS
Having grown up in a large military and law enforcement family, I learned about the insidious and indelible impact of cumulative stress and trauma at an early age. As a result, I developed a passion and curiosity for understanding the nature of traumatic experiences, and dedicated myself to helping those caught in its wake.
Many clients have expressed appreciation for my personal approach to counseling and training. I help people understand and navigate difficult situations, and help them find a path to improved health and wellness. Colleagues have expressed respect and admiration for how I help individuals and groups identify practical and realistic solutions for life. This includes a good night’s sleep, fun with family and friends, as well as spending time in nature, hobbies, and the regular use of a visionary bucket list. I have found that real change happens over time as a result of daily practice and ongoing commitment.
