About
Douglas Cyr, MPA, MFT, DAAETS
Growing up in a large military and law enforcement family, I learned about cumulative stress and vicarious trauma at an early age. As a result, I developed a lifelong passion for understanding the nature of traumatic experiences and dedicated myself to helping people who have been caught in their wake.
Many clients have expressed appreciation for my approach to counseling and training. I help people navigate difficult situations, while helping them find improved health and wellness. Colleagues have expressed admiration for my focus on practical and realistic solutions for life. I’ve found that real and lasting change only happens over time as a result of daily practice and commitment.
As far as I know, each of us has a limited lifetime warranty on our body; how we spend our time is the greatest measure of our success.
